As some of you people may know i study german and art in germany, in dortmund to be more concrete.
and today happend to be a day where i could present my stuff. im not sure if people form different countries a familiar with that problem, but in germany manga is very unpopular in university if you study art :/
but i managed to show my manga related work in advance, so i knew its not the favourite stuff my prof sees but i wont be laughed at or something.
i wasnt really sure anyway, because i had in mind that maybe there waas a chance that i could participate to get my work presented in a museum along the work of other students.
Well ,before i showed my stuff i spoke with an elder student, who already had the bachelor.
it was really ...i dont know, like depressing. i argued with her, that i can guess that manga-related art has never been shown in the echibition i wanted to participate,so that might something new for everyone, but she replied that the teachers at university woldnt be like ready for sth. like this, in china i'd have propably more luck.
after all i showed it to my prof, and she was pretty open minded, but i still have no good feeling about my chances being part of the exhibition.....
about my art, she saw no problem i wanted to solve/work at..
thats an interesting point i think, but having fun to work on the stuff one likes should be an acceptable reason to so art, too i think xD
but anyway, i know that university is not the audience i have in mind when i work, but it would be nice if manga-related work would be more appreciated there by profs. i mean, some dirt stains is accepted as art,so what is the issue with "pretty" things?
i really wonder if there are counrtries where its equally accepted OuO

Fanart Feature: Grandia
As a huge Fan of Grandia, for this month's feature I thought why not share some inspiring and gorgeous fanart of Grandia *_*
I got into collecting Vinyl :D
I am turning 30 next week and what better time it is to admit to something I thought so far only old people do. Well I am one of them now, so here it goes xD in my teenage years I was totally into buying CDs. Especially when I got interested in Gothic/Metal music. My first Nightwish album (Once) had a high emotional value for me when I was 14 and I think that rubbed off to CDs as a concept. So me and my brother kind off got into collecting CDs of our favourite bands and to be honest, that wasn't always easy with that bit of pocket money in the mid 2000s :D . But there was no spotify, so these rare tracks on a deluxe version of an album were absolutely worth it. And I also loved browsing though the booklets and getting totally immersed into the concept of an album. But why am I now talking about CDs when the title says vinyl? when I was collecting CD's with my brother it sometimes happend that in one of those deluxe versions there was a tiny vinyl record. I never really paid much
Fanart Feature: .hack
Apparently it's been 20 years already since .hack//infection was released on ps2. This game kind of played a huge role in my journey as an artist. My first nickname online was Kite, just like the main character from that game. Ok actually it was "Kite92" haha. Also visually it really inspired me a lot, the colors and atmosphere was really memorable and the OST is still one of my favourites :D. So I want to share some amazing .hack fanart I found here on deviantart x)

I'm from germany and I know what you mean. xP
Bur I think there might be a chance to change this a bit, because in the last time I've seen many TV shows reporting about Cosplay. I think it's getting much more popular and even if people don't like it, they need to accept it (because we'll rule the world! xD)!
